All About Leasa

Hello! My name is Leasa and I’m happy to share my portfolio with you here! I am originally born and raised in San Diego, CA. I attended college at Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, and I received my Bachelors of Animation in 2005. I had a short internship and entry level artist’s position on “Barnyard” (Omation, Paramount) before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in 2D Animation. I began working at The Simpsons in 2006 and have spent the majority of my career on the series and freelancing very lightly on other series. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children, sewing and generally being creative whenever I can!

As an artist on a team, one of my biggest strengths and greatest enjoyments, is to collaborate! It really fills my cup to put my head together with other creatives, solve problems, think outside the box, and to know that my efforts are making other’s jobs easier. There is a real thrill to accomplishing a task with team support!
